Today we went to the United States Air Force Museum. Admission to the museum is free. The girls were in school, so it was just Mrs. B, Mr. D, Butterfly, and me. We saw lots of awesome exhibits, but I think my favorite one was about how prisoners of war communicated by tapping on the wall. They made up a code so their guards couldn't understand what they were saying. Another part of the exhibit showed some of the ways people in concentration camps spent their time. They made mousetraps and other useful things. 
Some of the planes we saw had Disney characters on the side. There were all sorts of characters, each representing a specific company in the army. The last exhibit we walked through was about space exploration. In addition to rockets, we saw examples of the food astronauts eat while in space. We also got to step inside an old space shuttle. It even had several of the early spaceships, like Apollo 11.
